signature check timed out

When connected to a random server. Server writes : "signature check timed out" and kick me....

Happens with certain servers it seems - not sure if it's happening to you on ALL servers.

It was happening on my milsim unit's server up until a few months ago. I had to screw with a few settings server side to get it working for everyone. If it's happening on all servers, it may be something to do with your internet connection. Everyone that I've seen have the issue seems to have awful internet, or an awful PC.

Try to change your language in steam->arma 3-> properties-> language

**Fixed**
Windows 10 - corrupted or incomplete update install. Client side issue.
Check MS support- get & run the updater repair tool.
Repair/finish install
Reboot
Check integrity of game files.

Worked for me.

I've recently upgraded to a new computer and was encountering this problem and in addition when I hit escape to quit a server (when I did manage to get into one)l. Although my old computer was terrible at running Arma 3, I never had this particular problem on it.

This is how I've fixed it:
1. Install Arma 3 on your root drive (the same as your operating system) if it isn't already.
2. Verify the integrity of Arma 3 game files in Steam.
3. Open Windows Firewall settings and ensure Arma 3 is added to Firewall exceptions and that both Public and Private boxes are checked.
4.. Install and run Razer Cortex Game Booster and configure it to kill maximum amount of processes without compromising essential ones. It is also worth running in in-built System Booster and set it to defrag Arma 3.

I won't guaratee these steps will fix this issue for everyone but it seems to have fixed it for me, so far.

This is not a problem of Arma, it is a problem of the "parking break of gaming" ........ Steam.
