Eden editor interface broken

Everytime I make a mission Bohemia takes a piss on me with their broken features...
This time its the Eden editor user interface saying a big ♥♥♥♥ you right at my face. No matter what setting I try to change the 3rd tab is always and I mean always broken. I can't open it no matter what.
So in this case, the 3rd option for Respawn Position module happens to be the "side" tab. On default it is set on "Leading side" and I can't change it. There's no "leading side" in my mission so nobody can respawn or even spawn to begin with because there's nowhere to spawn.

Arma back at it again being broken as ♥♥♥♥. And yes I am pissed because I have found no fix and I've used tens of hours of my time in developing this mission so I hope to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ god someone has something that would un-ruin my entire week.

If you would stop complaning and do a simple google search, you would likely find an answer. In this case i believe changing your interface size may fix it, though i'm not sure.

If you'd be in my position I'm sure you would understand my frustration. Trust me I've gone through google numerous times and can't find any fixes. Why do you think I'm asking here in the first place?

I'll try to change the inferface size to see if it works, thanks for the tip. I'll let you know if it does anything so others with similar issues could know as well.

Thanks to @iSlayed🅰Unicorn the issue has been fixed. Changing your interface size does indeed work and now all the options are accessible again.

So I just reinstalled Arma3 after one and a half year hiatus. Bohemia is an absolute mess of a software developer, with game asset breaking bugs with ticets that have been open since 2013. And I suppose I shouldn't be suprised to come back to find out that instead of fixing old issues they have spent the time creating new ones.

I had this same problem while interface at "small". I spent the last hour and 20 minutes trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. Was I just too stupid to use the new editor? Thanks to this thread I figured that I'm not the problem here.

So I changed the interface size to "normal". I assume this is the default size. And now the 4th drop down menu field doesn't work. So I can't get both the 3rd and the 4th field to both work simultaneously.

And seeing how they have a new paid DLC coming out, they probably won't be fixing this issue any time soon. I might as well just rage uninstall right now.

They tend to break stuff and then wait 6 months to fix it. The last time they broke xbox controller sensitivity and took over 6 months to fix it. The only way to get it fixed was to select dev branch but then all sorts of other things broke. I agree they are terrible at breaking their own game and then taking decades to fix it unless you do dev branch with breaks your entire life and triggers 5 gig downloads on a daily basis.

It seems like there are maybe a half dozen weeks in the year when all of my mods and Arma work as they should.

Though I'm glad this thread was any help to you. I'm sorry to hear that you can't get both the 3rd and 4th field to work simultaneously... At least you aren't stuck anymore like we both were.

Hoping they get it right in ArmA 4, all of it. There's just barely any other game series with potential like this one.
