How do you use the Laser Marker in the CAS jets?

As of the update which improved aim prediction with jets, CAS jets are now outfitted with a Laser Marker. But how is it used?

Can you lock the marker onto a vehicle and then guide a GBU bomb onto your own laser dot?

Been done and done that... the keybind under the Arma 3 Apex preset is number row 4 which in the base game jets toggles between bombs and laser designator; aim it from the targeting pod (TGP) view, lock that onto the target vehicle (if you get it exactly the TGP view should say POINT instead of AREA), activate the laser mark, and you should eventually get a game-UI cross in the 3D world where your spot is; in the Jets update your sensor display will have an icon for the spot as well so long as the front of your jet is facing it and you're within range (view distance accounted for).

any idea where the key binding is. i have tried the toggle optics, but that doesn't seam to work. i am trying to key it to my throttle.
