I've restarted to the start my computer so my driver was near the first ones, i updated them and now my Arma doesn't show the error message like you and it's running right now, hope I helped
Clean your computers first... If that doesn't work you might want to think about repairing windows.
Yet you're getting "0Xc06d007e" which is an OS critical error.
This is not a good comparison due to Arma 3 using resources like no other application.
Or It must be a problem between the chair and keyboard.
I've not had this error because when the patch came out... I didn't have enough room on my SSD. Steam doesn't want to play nicely about that issue So I deleted everything and downloaded the update version.
Saying that I can download at around 27mbs on steam. So a reinstall doesn't take long for me.
Random forum guy!
The solution is a system restore!
Guess we'll have to wait...
I'm running Windows 10 64bit on a I7 4ghz. I have 16GB RAM I'm using a GTX7604GB video card 120GB SSD and 2TB of HDD and a Strix 7.1 external sound card and I'm not getting this problem.
holy crap, took three days trying to fix this, turns out that it was a driver problem. Just needed to update.
At least I know several -possible- fixes to this problem
-verify integrity
-Admin cmd, type "sfc /runnow" and fix possible corruptions
-fresh reinstall of OS or game
-update drivers
These are all very basic fixes, so these might not work
A: It could be your drivers.
B: It could be your hardware.
C: It could be a problem between the chair and keyboard.
I'm speculating...
Unfortunately I'm done with your attitude. Enjoy the crashing because I've not got this problem and my advise has helped other people. I now think the problem is option option “C”.
Have a nice day.
Then google "0xc06d007e" and disagree with the thousands of topics out there.
What about you malloc settings? Have you tried a different malloc?

My location of the game
D:\Games\steamapps\common\Arma 3
Look for the Arma3.exe and try to start the game from that.

Scroll down to the bottom and download and install!
Even if you have already.
Then repeat the arma3.exe
