Problems with SQUAD.xml (Regarding Insignia)

Greetings,

a few days ago I changed my squad insignia to something new. Thing is, when I join the Server I usually play on and look at my profile on the Player List it shows my correct info but still the old insignia, it's nearly complete transparent and barely noticeable. When I look at my shoulder it's not to be seen either.

It works on other servers as expected, but some servers don't even recognize the SQUAD.xml at all.

I tried changing the directory on my webspace, renaming the logo.paa to something different etc. nothing works.

Is this issue known and is there a fix to it? Could it be that the server stores the squad info locally and needs a restart to update a new info from a player?

You might have to go into your insignias in your appdata and remove your old insignia for it to download the new one.

I noticed insignia not being seen on shoulder after respawn.

Exactly what I said, go into your appdata find the arma 3 folder and look for the insignias folder and delete your old insignia (while you're at it delete all the other ones too). This should make arma download the new xml when it launches.

Alright, so just simply deleting the files did not work, but what worked was to change the Clan Tag (The name in these [ ] brackets).
After that it works just fine!
