"Dynamic Simulation is a feature that extends the possibilities to define and control object simulation. It's goal is to allow designer to increase number of objects and AI units that can be present in the mission without destroying game performance. This is achieved by selectively simulating only what is needed." -From Bohemia.
That basically means that you can select an AI unit, and add parameters to stop it from being simulated (Think- No longer using cpu) Which means that less things are happening, and so your performance is not destroyed.
This is useful to have large amounts of AI or vehicles on a mission or in the editor without destroying your performance.
So this just means it will help with performance?
TBH tho you have probably explined it better than i could anyways lol
Oh, i was thinking it ment the AI thought differntly.
So i can make it to, lets say stop simulating when outside of my veiw distence?
Thx for good answers, need it too. now i got a question after reading..
im lazy at scripting, more placing xD.. soo can dynamic simulation be a replacement for KI spawns and their triggers? both bring better performance but, dynamic simulation is same good? mabe better? for performance and game play?
