How do I wear a chemlight instead of throw it?

You need a mod for that

Advanced Combat Enviroment Modification. Once you install that mod, go to your settings and find the hotkey for Self Interaction, use that key and go to option for Equiptment. Once there if you have an IR Strobe or Chemlight you would like to attach you will simply click the item to attach it. Once you want the item removed you simply repeat the process to detach it. Be warned that once you detach the item it will become unusable in the future (being it is a chemlight)
