Arma 3 ORIGINS?

In arma 2, origins dayz mod was maybe most famous dayz mod, im wondering if the devs are porting dayz origins into arma 3.
I loved taviana map and the basebuildings origins had.

maybe they will because on the roadmap there is a dlc called operation orange i belive it can be it because they didn't say what it was

That dlc has nothing to do with taviana or survival mods!

Official plans for DayZX are squarely centered on the DayZ SA. There will be no official port of any ArmA II DayZ MOD to ArmA III.

Also, if you port it yourself you will probably step on more than a few copyright and IP issues that they may find actionable.

Origins has sued or threatened lawsuits for anyone using their map and content for anything other than a2 .. there was a a3 taviana that others ported , but origins said nay nay .. Im sure you could prob still find a copy .. but only for a locked private server or you will get shut down fast

Didnt origins devs make some a3 origins trailer to youtube? im wondering why they didnt finish the origins mod for a3, when they started it

There will be no official port, and origins will for sure not come to Arma 3, if it was it would have been announced already. Just because DayZ SA is buggy doesn't mean it cannot be played when it reaches Beta.

Yes he did, it's for the Desolation mod! The only mod he gives the rights to use it on

The BI devs have nothing to do with the Origins mod.

Yep development for Origins are arrogant bastards . they use arma engine and tons of arma objects then add a great map a few objects and scrips and close it as if they made it all , still use old arma objects , but now they dont upgrade to arma3 that means its going down fast .. its a fun mod but sinds LFS took it over its horror for the community and sure for the admins there is no freedom to add missions etc so its the louzy standard crap missions and getting boring soon sector b .. many good things to say but for admins its just plane horrid to manage . Lets hope and pray that they go down fast and release the lot so the community can take it over and make a future for that mod ........ i was admin for many years then we move to epoch and that was heaven for admin because i could modify the map , add scrips and missions the way i liked it .as for the map "you cant argue about taste" but Taviana is by far the best map i have seen that is not ported from other games only the creepy development for origins is leeching the internet to see if anyone is using Taviana for their servers and try to rob the host from money if they do .. i hope they go down fast i cant say that enough :)
