East Wind Campaign
I'm on the Adapt part of the campaign on my second playthrough and I noticed at the FIA camp, I can go scout some locations aside from the main mission. Do I just run to these side missions or can I acquire a vehicle from the camp?

Everytime you enter a hub area, go and stand near the various squads of men standing around, after a few seconds they'll start talking about some event or something they've seen, this will in turn give you side mission prompts on the map. There's actually quiet a lot of side ops to go on at each camp in the game, including when you're at Camp Maxwell at the start. But they only load in after you've heard the conversations about them, just go and idle by a squad for 5 mins or so and they should talk about every side mission before they start to repeat themselves.

Generally speaking there should be a vehicle near the main exit at every camp which you can get in and take out with you tho the prompt on screen is 'Start Patrol' rather than the steering wheel. Later on once you've taken command of a squad for the first time in the main missions you'll be given a 2nd vehicle option which has a squad in it to go out with you on patrol instead but you can do all the missions alone. Important to note that what ever vehicle you go out with will be lost if you don't come back with it, but you can bring back any vehicle and it'll be saved to camp (you only get 1 vehicle save though).

Also enything you bring back from the patrol (stored in the vehicle), will be saved to the supply boxes at the camp armoury.

Also if you plan on doing the side missions, do them before you go back out on any main missions or you may miss out on them.

Camp Maxwell had them as well? I never found that out. I only remembered the ones on Adapt because the 2 men that are talking about the side missions are right beside the armory when I am grabbing my loadout.

Yeah i too almost missed them my first time around, at maxwell there's a group of guys sitting around across from the meeting area, if you go stand by them for a while they'll talk about downed choppers, a missing squad and heading back to Mike 26 for medical supplies. I think there's some other missions aswell but those 3 are the one's I remember off the top of my head.

The problem with Maxwell was you were only allowed a quad bike and so your carry back capacity was limited. You were no able to "steal" larger AAF vehicles and drive them back, only quadbikes. I'm still looking for a mod that allowes me to "unlock and steal" said vehicles. Most specifically, there is a transport truck at the radio towers north of Mike-26. Killing the 8 man crew is easy, but I want to steal that truck and load up all the gear from crimson tide, lucky shot, etc and drive that "truckload back to camp maxwell. I also managed to take down camp tempest which has a full weapons crate. I want to steal that flatbed truck also and load it up and drive it back. What workshop mod do I need to allow me to "steal" these vehicles?
