You don't understand that you need to open your ports to allow your friends to access your internet connection to allow you guys to play?

Seriously, go back to school, college or somewhere that will teach you how routers work.

If you have a UPnP router (google to find out if it is or not, i'm not a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ book) then enable the UPnP and Arma 3 can automatically port-forward.

Well if you really want to play with your friends, learn how to port-forward. Most games have the port-forwarding, so it's about time you deal with it and stop crying to forums when it doesn't work for you. Google is your friend.

That's nice. If you knew how to do it in the first place then why make a thread and why insult me further? Actually can't even call that an insult, a feeble attempt at making yourself feel better, maybe?

I was trying to help you, and my style of typing normally includes swearing etc, so sorry if you felt offended or something.

EDIT] You didn't say you knew how to port-forward or not, and if you did, proof please.

Ok, first off. You need portforwarding since that is the basic principle of how NAT routers work and how basically all consumer internet connections are setup. Second the only reliable way to get a multiplayer game going without porforwarding is by servers hosted by the developer or publisher which means when they get tired the game dies.

You do realize Flame's just telling you not to b*tch on the forums about something that you find annoying or un-necessary. Thats your oppinion so keep it to yourself because Bohemia wont come crying to you like "Oh we're so sorry we will fix that immedietly".

When I wanted people to join ArmA 2 it worked straight off, in ArmA 3 I ticked upnp and surprised it worked very well. If you want to play with you hosting it then you have to use upnp OR port forward. The only other way is to rent a server or play on a random one

This is the only game I've ever had to do this ♥♥♥♥. There's a "upnp" setting somewhere you can check is how I got it to work.

You can join public servers, tho, they are public.
