KOTH save after Format

Hello,

So yesterday i have format my computer, i always had all my arma 3 and arma 3 other profiles saved on an external hard drive so i have all the backup i need there is no problem on that.

The thing is, if i simply copy/paste both those folder in my documents, it won't work.
I've read that i need to cut/paste certain files only but i can't figure out which one.

I don't know if it has something to do with the fact that i was on Windows 10 family and now i'm on Windows 10 Pro, my computer " name " is also not the same.

Can someone help me ? thanks

Go into the "other profiles" folder and copy the folder named the same name as your King of the Hill character and just paste that into the new "other profiles" folder. Should work.

Doesn't work, in Arma 3 when i select profile, i see two " eZen " if i change skin on one, it change the other instantly too, if i select the profile on top, hit ok, and go back to profile, the game highlight the name under the one i have chosen, i don't know if it's normal but anyway i'm still level 1. I was level 79.

So if i delet all file in my documents, i will restart the game it will create a Arma 3 folder that's it, what can i do with now everything is " basic " ?
do i have to simply cut paste the entire " arma 3 other profiles " ? because it doesn't create itself.

i kind of tried everything i don't know what i'm missing..

I DID IT !

So if someone read this is the futur, the solution for me was :

my main profile with all my level was actualy my profile in " arma 3 other profiles " no problem i already knew it, so here is what i did :

I have copy/paste the two files named :

" YOURNAME.Arma3Profile "

and

" YOURNAME.vars.Arma3Profile "

then go to the Arma 3 folder that the game creates automaticaly and delet the two same files that the game creates and paste the one you have copied instead.

worked for me after so much pain on how to make it.
