I'm not saying it wouldn't be cool if it did more like a vehicle. but you asked! and i replied
Same with Tanoa, stole from a mod, slight update and BAM fully paid DLC!
The carrier reeks of laziness and I was stocked about it before I saw it for real. The old carriers from Battlefield 1942 almost had more usefull detail lol.
Lifts for storing planes below decks
Boat winches for launching assault craft
Things like that would have really opened up options for mission makers.
We still need a vehicle to pull aircraft around aswell :(
lifts and ocean level access are pretty big parts of the craft so it should at least be in at a functional level
"I'm not saying it wouldn't be cool if it did more like a vehicle"
I'm just telling him how it is, not how it should be!
You can store plenty of aircraft on deck, and you have a decent briefing room, so I am fine with this free prop. Regardless, even though it has less functionality compared to some of mods, it looks the best by far, and is a lot more well implemented into the game.
"b-but muh immersion" Novelty of a lift would wear off after using it a couple times, the carrier works perfectly as intended. Again, it was a free update on a game turning 4 years old this year. Lets get a grip of ourselves here
