I saw people coming and going from both doors, I just assumed they were passing through. You are correct of course if they are not.
As someone who used to be a Dev, I can tell you how it happened tho ... one of the Dev's asked for permission to make a stepped warehouse, and the Producer/Product Manager said, "Sure, just make sure you don't replace the elevator." And it never went any further.
Like everything else in this game, it just depends on your layout and available space to determine what works and what doesn’t.
also storage space is king !!
Well, they are still (minimally) useful ...
I made this same exact point plus pointed out why implementing stairs into the game instead of elevators would help with the flow of traffic and my post got deleted.
Hey! I've also left a similar reply to you on your review, but I wanted to have a slightly different conversation with you here.
Regarding your deleted post, is this the feedback you're referring to? I can see that our creative director/lead dev Sam (aka Chiefmonkey) had a brief conversation with you there. My apologies that no one ever replied to your last comment - the sad truth is that, despite us doing our absolute best to keep up with all the feedback and comments, sometimes we miss things. If you want to get in touch with us ASAP, I always recommend coming to our Discord[discord.gg]! Ping us and we'll endeavour to reply quickly. Also, I want to reassure you that we'd never delete a post because someone disagrees with us! We value feedback way too highly for that.
That said, even though we do value what people tell us, we can't always implement community feedback. Whether that's due to technical limitations, time constraints, or if it steps outside of our vision for Before We Leave, just to name a few reasons. It's something that we've grappled with as a studio but all four of us came to realise that you can treasure feedback while also not implementing it.
I hope this has been helpful! :)
OMG, and most of us don't want you to!!!! You just keep driving on, you and your doing just fine. Just be sure to implement my feedback!!!
Hahahahaha!
