Okay let me preface this by saying I am a complete noob when it comes to installing mods on anything without the help of nexus. I am trying to install the HF patch but whenever I run the installer it keeps telling me that the game directory has a different game installed and will not let me install it. I want to add a character. How should I do it? Please tell me from the beginning.

The studio is closed and the last time it has a discount on Steam was in 2023...Is it safe to assume that this will never get a discount anymore and just buy it? The reason I ask is because I don't have time to "play" this game anytime soon but I just afraid it will be gone from Steam at one point in the future....
