I can't download characters

Normally the game would be working fine. Though for some reason both download buttons using the Manly Marco HF patch isn't working. It constantly says "Can't connect to the server and always leads to a black screen. Which is a shame, because I had to reset my PC, and I won't be download the characters people make for the game.
I heard some people saying you can download characters a different way?
But as of right now, I'm just looking if anybody has any solutions to the issue,
I've tried uninstalling the game and the HF patch multiple times, nothing has gotten it to work yet.

"Official" character sharing servers (the ones you could access before from inside the game) were disabled as the developer company ceased all operations.

Is there a way to download creations from other people without those servers?

Illusion Cards Booru. Has thousands of cards. Just make sure its a koikatsu card and not another game by checking the tags

Characters are saved as png files. The character data, personality and everything is saved inside the png file, so make sure that you download the original .png image. Do not download the thumbnail!

Put the .png file either in Koikatsu Party\UserData\chara\female or \male
