Eyes in front of hair bug???

So, I'm making a character, and for some reason the eyes (as well as the eyebrows) will NEVER be behind this hair accessory. Even when "Eyes in Front of Hair" are set to no, they still appear in front. I've tried finding any rhyme or reason behind this, but I cannot fix the problem. What did I even do???

There is an option is the settings menu at the main menu, which force the in front option to all the characters.

those options are off already, so normally they would be behind, but they aren't. i don't know what's causing it

regardless of whether the "eyes in front of hair" setting is on no or save settings, it's bugged to be in front at all times

The hair you're using could be a part of an object that isn't categorized as hair (an accessory perhaps?)

The option should work under normal circumstances.

here's the thing, it's an accessory. if i was able to provide a screenshot i would, but even if it's base position is on the head or on the ponytail or anywhere it seems to not be layered below the hair

It says "This content is no longer available." for me unfortunately. Not sure if position matters as much as what the game considered the object to be (if the game doesn't think it is hair, then the see-through setting won't do anything for it).

What is the exact accessory name and on which body part category do you choose it in?

i'm trying to make the main character from wuthering waves (the female version). it's a mod i found on pixiv, and to answer your question i tried hair parts, as well as head parts (center of head, forehead, ponytail, etc) and it doesn't seem to work regardless. it could possibly be the accessory but i'm not too sure

update: i fixed it. so it turns out it was the accessory *shader.* it had two shaders, the second shader being the problem. it was on shader forge/main hair front, changing it to main hair fixes the issue. i don't know why that is?

Yes, even the shaders can mess with such settings.
