Report a translation problem
An important thing that you have to add a map too, if you dont have a map its much more harder to see the differences.
And if you want to effect on the characters thats another thing, light only affect to the maps. To the characters go to the system tab (at the left side under the sound) > scene effects > miscellaneous, here you can change the characters shadow intensity. After that go to system tab > character lightning, here you can change the strenght, horizontal and vertical light directio. So you have to set the directon to the light source, and then you'll get the illusion of lights and shadows :D Oh and always tick self shadowing on.
This is my version, but i dont know if there is another way to do this.
