Can you add/edit characters after starting a game?
Title. Just want to know how obsessive I should be about character creation before I start the story.

Add characters: Yes.

Edit existing ones: Uuhm. No idea. But it's easy to test, just start the story with a custom girl, go sleep (ingame ;)), go to char editor and edit that girl, load the game and see how the girl looks like.
