BUT:
It will be impossible to use bepinex mods from older Illusion titles with some adaptations (like it was before).
The approach for modifying the code must be different from the old illusion games like Koikatsu (as Koikatsu uses Mono instead of IL2CPP).
Because of that, all the numerous and refined structure made by modders trough the years need to be ported, one by one, set by step, from the very beginning. This takes time, and by the time that everything catches up, probably the next game will already be released.
For comparison look at HF patch for Room GIrl and compare the list of mods in it with Koikatsu's HF patch.
TL;DR:
Honey Come brings so many changes that plugins will take a long, looooong time to catch up comparing to the previous games. It’s likely that it will never reach the same level of Koikatu or Honey Select 2
