Better Repack or HF Mod, any difference?
i'm curious, Is there any difference between?

Both are mod packs. So other plugins/mods are used. BR also offers ... not so legal things.

The HF Patch is the most used one I believe, so most of the custom character cards should work with it.

That's probably a matter of opinion. If you don't care about custom character chards, try BR if you prefer the plugins and mods used there over the ones in the HF Patch.
