You can keep the latest patch, but you need to go game folder>mods, and then delete the
Sideloader Modpack - Animations folder.

in 3.14 they have kplug animations which are the problem. go into your sideloader in kkmanager and delete them. worked for me.

Delete the folder "Sideloader Modpack - Animations".
If animations works afterwards, you can try to add more mods back into that folder. Since there are several animation mods in that folder, maybe it's only one mod which causes the problem. I believe it's the katarsys one.
