CharaStudio FK animation issues
Okay so is it just me or are there a lot more nodes on the FK skeleton? They seem pretty useful in the way that you can manually change how the body actually lines up in certain poses and I think they're pretty cool... HOWEVER I'm having so much trouble trying to grab joints because all of these additional nodes are like, overlapping the main important ones.

I haven't dug deep into where these nodes are coming from or if I can turn them off so please tell me if I'm just an idiot, but they're really annoying because I can't actually animate anything because of them.

It has been a few months since i have used CharaStudio but there should be a scroll bar that lets you make them smaller :shadows::TCWINK:

Haah yeah I've used that, but they seem to be placed practically on top of each other... like it feels almost random which one I get to move as they both function and visually look like they're in the exact same place

are you using FK, or the combined FK/IK tab?
the latter effectively doubles-up all of the FK nodes - which i'm not entirely sure is WAI - rendering combined FK/IK practically unusable

Nope, just in the FK tab. And sorry for the late reply. Yeah I fiddled around with that and can agree completely. And as far as the actual issue I'm unsure how to really describe it, other than just a whole set of extra FK nodes that seem to deal with muscle alignment. They just suddenly appeared one day unprompted

while it isn't normal behavior for the FK/IK nodes to remain highlighted if you're only using the FK menu, going into the combined FK/IK menu and deselecting all of the nodes should stop them from appearing in the other kinematic menus
seems that the newer versions of charastudio default to rendering FK/IK regardless of whether you want it to or not
