If you have any doubt with the pricing, it probably means the answer to your question is NO. All those who answered YES would be buying this game already without asking whether it is worth it or not. This rule is generally true with buying any game.
Wait for the next sales event.
Anyway you can refund it in 2 hours if you won't like it.
All it is is creating characters you'd like to bambozle or settle with the many already good options that already exist.
Spend ingame time walking around talking to said girls and just answering questions that would fit their personality type.
After a while you're good to go for some fun time, you can switch between positions and momentom and .. that's about it.The gameplay doesn't really go past that.
There's barely any real story so the "visual novel" segments can practically be skipped.
The dates are just 2 pages of visual novel content as well with no real interactions.
The school isn't even fun to navigate and after 2-3 days you'll just learn that using the F3(Teleporting to locations) is much more reliable.
There's no subtitles for most of the "important" scenes.(The patch brings over sort of fake machine learning subtitles that are more funny than enjoyable to read).
You can't interact with anything other than when you're in the middle of the funscenes you can place your hands on her obvious locations.
There is no animation for most things. You can't actually see the kissing, hand holding and many other things that the game mentions are happening.
You can't attend any of the lessons, clubs, sport activities either.
The game is boiled down to -> Pick a character you find the most attractive.
Exhaust her dialogue multiple times until she's ready to mingle.
Experiment with different positions( That you have to unlock more of by some mundane methods)
Get bored and repeat the same with a different girl.
This game could be pretty much stripped down to only include the "funtime" scenes with literally everything else about it removed, and it would largely be the exact same game.If anything it would waste less of your time.
60$ for this? You'd have to have a lot of cash laying around to believe it's worth it.
Personalities are important sure. But the entire dialogue system is based on around 4-5 questions per phase(green and yellow) that you just learn to answer "correctly" depending on the type of person you'd be talking to. (Nerdy looking girl with glasses like studying, quiet sounding girl hates exercise and so on).
You're telling one girl you hate animals and the other one you adore cats so there's no consistency needed either.
The personalities also 'sorta' affect when you can get into fun stuff with them, but does it really matter? You could just be a bit more patient and max a girl's affection out before you ask her those questions in order to avoid failure. Not like it takes that much effort, just one day cycle extra of focusing on one girl.
What's special about the locations? Just typical highschool(Japanese highschool) spots.
The only two that are nice are the pool and the gym, which is mostly for the type of clothes the girls wear there and it doesn't matter since the game allows you to change the clothes they are wearing during scenes anyways.
And there aren't even proper subtitles so even that pleasure is taken away from you during the scenes.
The game has two things going for it.
1.The character creator and the artwork of the characters themselves.
2.The sex scenes themselves aren't bad. Sure i would've liked more actual animations and interactions(Actually seeing the kissing, hand holding moving differently other than going faster or slower and more fluids but it's better than most.
Problem is everything else in the game not only feels like unfinished, unpolished filler. But it's also unnecessary filler. How many times do i need to answer the same questions and skip day phases in order to get to a specific point with a girl, just to be rewarded with a very quick "endgame" where i experience a few positions with one girl and get bored since the replayability ends there when all the scenes are roughly the same with any other girl.
Unique encounters would improve the game ( Specific scenes and positions you could only do with certain people).
Better conversation system that isn't just a black and white yes or no questionare.
Actual interaction between the girls themselves.
More animations, the game is practically just a visual novel with walking.
Actual activities such as Clubs/Sports/ACTUAL Dates or other interactables.
Freaking proper subtitles.
Sell me something that is more than just slightly above average sexscenes i can search on a pronsite to watch and a character creator that is only worth 60$ if you would pay the price regardless what it was to begin with.
Maybe Subverse will finally provide a hentai game that actually has GAMEPLAY to it as well. One can hope.
Sex scenes are good thing of course, but if you don't have anything except sex - it becomes boring rather fast.
Cnoversation system is made rather light on purpose, so most of players could enjoy it after hard working day without spending an hour or so to conquer one girl. There should be some obstacles, but not too complex ones.
If you want more animations for Party - get kplug.
And if you are into pregnant girls - get KK_Pregnancy.
Can't check it right now. What sort of animations does kplug add?
You're the only person that interacts with anyone else unless the girls get caught masturbating, so it can get kinda dull compared to its predecessor. Only apples-to-apples advantages are graphics and stability since it runs on Unity instead of illusion's inhouse engine.
No, it's not included in HF patch + installation can look kinda complicated.
You can get it from Kplug's creator Patreon posts (requires Patreon account and no payment).
Of course it's not the latest version, but still very fresh one.

Instructions for installation are written for 1.86, but should work for 1.9b as well.
It's easier than it looks!
Installation (retains animated vaj from kplug + different male genitalia):
1. Go to "\Koikatsu Party\BepInEx\" folder.
2. Create "ipa" folder there.
3. Put "KoikPlugins.dll" from:
"kPlugCore\kPlugMisc\Version\1.86 for KP\" to
"Koikatsu Party\BepInEx\IPA\" folder.
4. Go to "Koikatsu Party\mods\Uncensors and body mods\"
5. Move out or delete all files containing "Female"
6. Go to "kPlugCore\kPlugMisc\FixForUncSelector\"
7. Copy "KK_UncensorSelector Base.zipmod" from there to:
"Koikatsu Party\mods\" folder. Confirm overwriting.
8. Go to "kPlugCore\" folder.
9. Copy "abdata" folder from there to:
"Koikatsu Party" folder. Confirm overwriting.
10. Go to "Koikatsu Party\BepInEx" folder.
11. Change "dll" extenison to any other (e.g. to "123") for these files:
KoikatuGameplayMod.dll
KK_Subtitles.dll
(this disables them, as they are incompatible with kpug).
12. Start the game. Go to "Settings" - "plugin / mod settings".
13. Find "Screenhot manager".
14. Change "Take ui screenshot" key from F9 to "O" (letter) for example (or else it will overlap with koik plugin hotkey).
15. Go to "Hide H interface"
16. Change "Hide H ui toggle" from "Space" to some other key (for the same reason).
17. Go to title screen and press "Delete". This should open kplug's settings.
Don't forget to read kplug's manuals from "kPlugCore\kPlugManual\" before playing (you'll need to remember some hotkeys and stuff)!
