Plus like 95% sideloader mods (hair, clothes, etc) for KK work there too without any changes (including female uncensors, though not BP ones yet).
So it's properly playable now.
Is it better to wait a bit and get Sunshine once mod creators have ported over, since I assume mods will now be primarily created for use with Sunshine without thought for cross-compatibility...
Or is it easier to just get KK on Steam with the hope that mods are still made for it (or Sunshine mods are compatible), since it already has a very developed modding scene?
Again I'm not interested in the gameplay really, only models and animations. Thanks!
Maybe Studio in Sunshine will have some new functionality or gui (or not), but the date of release for Studio is still unknown.
So if you are in a rush it's easier to get KK now.
So are the models and animations pretty much the same then, no graphical updates? It's hard to get an idea of what's new on the JP website
Also new system for the fluid your character shoots with was added.
There are a lot of new animations, and they are very fluid and detailed as well.
All environments are much more detailed and better textured compared to KK.
Considering we got an official English release for Koikatsu's DLC this year, Illusion obviously knows there's an audience in the west.
I'm pretty sure we will eventually get an English version of Koikatsu Sunshine, though we likely have to wait a year or two.
Or try googling.
