pretty sure it´s a sequel for koi, illusion doesn´t support their games after they moved to another game, as far as I know, and they´ve made at least 2 games after koi, 3 if you coun´t emotion creators.

I have reserved hype for this. Koikatsu Party is great for creating characters but without HFpatch the Steam version is very lacking. Hopefully they put more effort into an english version and don't gut the thing. I'm curious to see what the gameplay will be too. Found the dating sim thing to be kind of boring.

The setting looks a lot like Inna de Poona (the setting for "HuniePop 2"). I wonder if the people at Illusion have observed "HuniePop 2" and decided to create a Koikatsu game in a tropical island setting... although there are HUGE gameplay differences between that game and any game that Illusion has ever put out (I don't know of ANY combination Match 3 / Dating Sims that Illusion ever released).

Actually Illusion made a few games with the beach setting before, and also a puzzle game, long before HuniePop was a thing. I mean there´s like 3 or 4 sexy beach games made by them.

The ox cart in the trailer makes me think it's set in Okinawa, which would make sense as a sexy Japanese high school vacation place. If you pay attention, most of the girls seen in the trailer are actually from the default cards of Koikatsu Party.
