I'm a bit confused how to get mods

I have the game installed. I also have kk mod manager. But all I'm seeing when I google for mods is the same ones - the HFpatch mostly. I don't just want to uncensor the game. I want to be able to import new assets for.

The HFpatch is a modpack it´s not just an uncensor, it has a ton of mods, and with KK manager you can get more mods, although kkmanager doesn´t update plugins, that you have to update them manually or wait for the next HFpatch

the repack/hf patch have tons of content already in the game.
scenes and whatnot can be found in pastebins or /h/

KKmanager only updates sideloader mods (the ones containing additional hairs, outfits, accessories, etc).

It don't add / update bepinex mods (the ones that do uncensoring / additional in-game functionality / etc).

And it won't update your sideloader mods from the ground zero. You need to install HF patch first (it's from the same guy who made kkmanager. It adds a lot of both bepinex and sideloader mods).

HF patch is completely free, so there is nothing to worry about. And without it 99% of character cards from the internet sites won't work properly (as they use resouces from HF patch extensively).
