Hf patch stops working
Basically I had it working last night, woke up today and now even though it opens with the 3.2 launcher it doesn't have the mods anymore. Does anyone know a fix for this? I have steam auto update turned off btw.

Uhm. So you can start the game normally but everything is a mess cuz no mods are loaded? Do you get error messages in the upper left corner ("MISSING MOD BLALALALA")? Can you open the plugin settings in the option menu (f1 ingame)?

In your Koikatsu Party game folder: Do you have the BepInEx folder, a mods folder, ... ?

Welp. You can just install the HF Patch again and see if that helps. Just make sure to backup your UserData folder.

I had the 3.2 patch working with the mods and everything yesterday. And my folder does have the BepInEx folder with the plugins, I didn't try the F1 options in game I'll give it a shot next time I get the issue, unfortunately I uninstalled and reinstalled already for the second time, it has been the only solution i could find so far.
Also I haven't seen any error messages.

Well apparently reinstalling everything didn't fix it this time. And I'm not seeing the plug-in settings in the options.

Did you try turning your computer off and on again? ;--)

Is your Anti virus blocking/deleting files? Are the "BepInEx" and the "mods" folders actually filled with files or empty?

Do you have the winhttp.dll in the game folder?

Can you start the game with "Initial Settings.exe" in your game folder? Does it show you the HF Patch thingy?

Turning it on and off again seems to be what triggered it to lose the mods in the first place haha.

It could be my anti virus but i'm not 100% sure how to check that.

The BepInEx folder does contain files and is full of plugins. THe Mods folder has files as well.

winhttp.dll is in the folder at the very bottom. I just tried opening the game through the Initial Settings.exe and it launched the game with the 3.2 patch launcher window with the vr option and studio option at the top.

Not 100% sure what you mean by the HF Patch thing but i do have the HF Patch v3.2.exe which i used to install the mods in the first place, however i've tried running it again and it doesnt fix the issue.

Weird! Try to start the kkmanager.exe (to find in the "[UTILITY] KKManager" folder) and look for updates. May take a while, don't cancel it. After that try to start the game again. :/
(btw the manager should show you if and which Sideloader mods and Plugins are installed.)

If that doesn't help: Do you have a output_log.txt in your game folder? Can you share it?

So i had tried launching it after it updated the mods but it still didn't show them. Also it seems like it could only update 5 of the 7 it wanted to. Trying the update again.

"Successfully updated/removed 105 files from 2 tasks. Failed to update 101 files because some sources crashed. (Reason for failing) Failed to apply update C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Koikatsu Party\mods\sideloader Modpack - compatibility pack\garyuX\[GaryuX] Code Vein Mod.zipmod because IO issue - The process cannot access file because it is being used by another process."

It repeats that for a studio map ports mod too but i have no idea what any of that means.

Mkay then. Anyway, that should just update sideloader mods and such, not such things like BepInex itself. Mh!

It seems that Bepinex isn't loading at all. Can you tell which BepInEx version is installed?
In ...\Koikatsu Party\BepInEx\core\ right click on BepInEx.dll, properties, details. Version should be 5.0.1.0.

Or, welp, try to download and install the newest BepInEx build: REDACTED BY STEAM SUPPORT

(backups are cool)

It is version 5.0.1.0.

Also i'm not sure where but somewhere along all that fixed it and they are now showing up again.

I greatly appreciate the help, hopefully they don't somehow disappear again though.
