After School DLC install

I'm thinking of buying it from https://dlsoft.dmm.co.jp/en/detail/illusion_0026/

but I'm afraid I won't get to install it onto the steam version? Help?

That works.

To install these DLCs:

Extract the DLC/expansion with 7zip (or similar) until you find a "setup" folder that contains an "abdata" folder and some other files.

You need to copy all of these folders and files into your game's install directory (you should see our own abdata folder and other files similar to what's in the DLC). Replace files when asked.

Remove InitSetting.exe, Koikatu.exe and Koikatu_Data from your game folder if they exist (do NOT remove Koikatsu Party_Data and Koikatsu Party.exe).

Installing dlс on Steam version of the game is possible, but requires some tinkering:



- Install them in this order:

1. Character pack dlc
2. After school dlc

- Installation process:

1. Download clean installation of a game.
2. Unpack your dlc in some folder.
3. Go to this folder, open "setup" folder and copy/move all folders EXCEPT:

"Koikatu_Data",
"manual_s",
"manual"

to your "....\Steam\SteamApps\common\Koikatsu Party" folder.

5. Confirm overwriting for all.
6. Go to your folder with unpacked dlc again, open "サンプルデータ" folder (the one next to "setup" folder).
7. Copy "UserData" folder from there to to your "....\Steam\SteamApps\common\Koikatsu Party" folder too, confirm overwriting.

9. Repeat this for all dlc's you have keeping installation order listed above.

10. Install HF patch (If you want dlc parts be translated):

I tried running the only application on the DVD RW Drive (closest thing there is to an exe on the disc) but it says it can not open output file: Access is denied). This DLC is the only one I am having trouble installing. Please help. I already bought the DLC but now I am just rying to install it.

Uuh? Try to extract the file with Winzip/7zip, ... after that you should have the setup folder with the abdata folder and such.

If you can't unpack .exe file on the disc with dlc, you can open and extract it with 7zip (as it's a 7zip self-extracting archive anyway).
