Knots of hair in the character editor.

I took some cards of female characters from Illusion Soft, like Erwin and Yukari from Girls und Panzers. Put them in the chara -> female folder. When I load the characters in the character editor some parts of their hair are floating in knots above them. Not sure what is causing this. It's not telling me I don't have a particular mod install, so it shouldn't be that. Any ideas?

Do you have HF patch installed?

If you do and any zipmod is missing the game should list them in the top-left corner on loading character into editor.

I do have the HF Patch installed. The game isn't listing any missing mods in the top left.

Just checked, loads fine for me, hair is not made with accesories.

If there are no missing mods for you the most likely reason is the card using hair from dlc (Afterschool or Character pack), which you don't have.

I had similar glitch on few cards while running game without dlc.

It's rather rare though.

Do you know where to purchase this DLC? I don't see anything on Steam.

First check if dlc absense really causes it.

To do so get the card from the link below (remove double "_" before using the link). If her hair floats above her head upon loading this card in editor, then most likely your problems with cards are caused by dlc absense.

You can get the dlc on the dmm store, but their installation requires some tinkering.

Beware, they are pricey!

Afterschool dlc:

- Install them in this order:

1. Character pack dlc
2. After school dlc

- Installation process:

1. Download clean installation of a game.
2. Unpack your dlc in some folder.
3. Go to this folder, open "setup" folder and copy/move all folders EXCEPT:

"Koikatu_Data",
"manual_s",
"manual"

to your "....\Steam\SteamApps\common\Koikatsu Party" folder.

5. Confirm overwriting for all.
6. Go to your folder with unpacked dlc again, open "サンプルデータ" folder (the one next to "setup" folder).
7. Copy "UserData" folder from there to to your "....\Steam\SteamApps\common\Koikatsu Party" folder too, confirm overwriting.

9. Repeat this for all dlc's you have keeping installation order listed above.

10. Install HF patch (If you want dlc parts be translated):

Nope, the character's hair does not float, so there isn't an absence of dlc for that particular character. You said the character I provided a link to did not have floating hair in your editor. Do you perhaps have the pricey dlc (jesus, $60 and $40, ain't no way I'm getting that for a $60 base game)?

Hmm, it's interesting. Possibly some mods are bugged then.

Try istalling the latest HF patch (in case if you don't have the latest one installed already) and see if it resolves the issue.

Re-installed the latest version. Still having the same issue. It's pretty much only happening to cards of the same creator.

I was able to reproduce your problem on fresh game installation + HF patch.
After installing dlc the problem was eliminated and character looked absolutely fine.

So either consider getting dlc or choose other cards (most of them don't use hair from dlc).
