Zipmods
Hi all,
So I downloaded a couple clothing zipmods and put them in right directory - (as zipmods) - but they don't show in the character generator when I start the game, am I doing something wrong?
Thanks!

Hmm, just a guess, but did you unzip them? Pretty much anything that is a zip file needs to be unzipped first before it's usable in a program. If you didn't unzip them, you might try it and see if they work then.

Totally wrong, zipmods don't need to be unzipped to work properly. The mods loader reads and unzips them automatically in ram on the game start.

What are these zipmods exactly, can you give the names or links?

Also, try opening these mod's files with 7zip or something like this.

Is there "manifest.xml" file inside your .zip (or .zipmod) file?

If there is none, this means something is wrong with the mod.

And there is a possibility that these clothing mods add stuff as accesories instead of clothing, so make sure you are looking for them in the right menu.

Hmm, thanks for getting back!
That are underwear and bra mods and they have manifests in.
I was wondering if it might be that the items already exist?
I got them from Manly Marko's pattern site...

This is quite possible as well.

Try searching files in your "mods" folder with similar names to find this out.

Does the "manifest.xml" file go anywhere or are you able to drag the needed file where it belongs?

manifest.xml file should be kept inside zipmod file, no need to extract it.

Just put .zipmod files into

"Koikatsu Party\mods"

folder.

What if the mod is .zip file? Do I change it to .zipmod, or just extract it?
For example, kks.co_gloves_50.zip. It was on a Mega folder

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
