Check the out folder and then the gender of the character then it should be there

Where is this folder? I can't find it anywhere within the Koikatsu folder.

It should be in the folder where you have place the converter's .exe file as I remember.

It'll be .png file showing just black rectangle (instead of proper character preview), but it still contains character data.

I downloaded the rar file but when i open it up, its all just japanese, what do i do??

Isn't it obvious enough? You click on the right button. Then you have to select the scene (the .png file) where you want the characters from. Then the japanese window should show you the path to the file. Now click the button on the bottom.

Now you should have a new folder called "out". There you find the extracted female and male characters ...

Following the steps, I got character files out but they're all corrupted. Any clue if this is an issue with the program or the scene?

Already do and in Out folder, it's empty.

havin same issues not to sure I think it is the program though due to studio letting me import the character onto another scene

You can use the Character export plugin or the MakerBridge plugin to extract them as well.
