Patch download is problematic and not "user friendly"

Read the first 75 posts in Forum to inform myself. So i got game and installed.

Downloading Patch:
4 seperate downloads: 1.bin(1.95GB), 2.bin(1.96GB),3.bin(1.93GB, v2.10(2.4MB)
and a 5th download is, v2.10 torrent(30kb), that has no function.

"click here or here", only the first here functions)

Downloaded 1. bin, and a (39.6MB) ZIP file(illusion-0026m.zip) apears in my
download ordner. Check
Downloaded 2. bin, when 100% downloaded, i get notified that my tab crashed, and
was not in my download ordner. Try'd a few times, but gets stuck at 90% to 98%,
that tells me that trying again proves not to be the sollution.

I have now right clicked with mouse on downloadable item, and chose "standard
download" (with second choice present being "zip download")
Have double clicked on downloadable item before, to download
.....heck.....this one got stuck on 94 %....six hours trying to download the patch...

If you have trouble downloading from MEGA, use a torrent client. (thats what the .torrent file is made for)

.torrent is literally just a file sharing extension. You download a client that can use torrents, then you add the torrent you want on it and it'll download it from other users who are currently seeding it (uploading the file).

Even some legit game companies use torrents (mostly F2P mmo's and stuff), because its easier and often faster than downloading through sites like MEGA

Have just installed u torrent. They want to take over my computer :D
They are bombarding me at the moment. Gonna try and uninstall them after i
finish downloading patch.

Ah, well, uTorrent ... maybe you want to deinstall it immediately. Not sure how it is know, but they used so much malicious ads and also installed a Bitcoin (?) miner. Maybe it is safe now but you never know ...

I gave in the given address, and torrent told me the "search term is forbidden
and i must rather check their homepage for the most popular software.

is it so difficult to get hold of full content to play this game without restrictions
as it should be played. Either full game or no game. On my way to uninstall torrent.
Was a bad decision from. a great pitty, but life has to go on

Edit: Heck i do not find them in my "program list" in controll pannel to uninstall.
Have to uninstall my browser and do the dirty work of cleaning up my computer

HF patch 2.10 includes these files:

Koikatsu HF Patch v2.10.exe
Koikatsu HF Patch v2.10-1.bin
Koikatsu HF Patch v2.10-2.bin
Koikatsu HF Patch v2.10-3.bin

If you exceeded you Mega downloading limit - just wait several times and it regenerates.

Considering torrent client - you can use qBittorrent (for example).

It's free, open-source and not malicious.

Copy magnet link and press "Add torrent link..." button in the torrent client.

Thanx for the info. You by chance know how long i have to wait for the download
limit to regenerate? :)

A very important question:
Do i have to use Torrent to download "After School", if i decide to get it

Have just had a very hair raising experience with a torrent and am still unsteadily shaking.

Regeneration takes about 6 or 8 hours, as I remember.

Considering Afterschool dlc - well, legally you need to buy it using links below (it's pricey).

But looking for it elsewhere over the net is a possibility too. Just be careful!

- Install them in this order:

1. Character pack dlc
2. After school dlc

- Installation process:

1. Download clean installation of a game.
2. Unpack your dlc in some folder.
3. Go to this folder, open "setup" folder and copy/move all folders EXCEPT:

"Koikatu_Data",
"manual_s",
"manual"

to your "....\Steam\SteamApps\common\Koikatsu Party" folder.

5. Confirm overwriting for all.
6. Go to your folder with unpacked dlc again, open "サンプルデータ" folder (the one next to "setup" folder).
7. Copy "UserData" folder from there to to your "....\Steam\SteamApps\common\Koikatsu Party" folder too, confirm overwriting.

9. Repeat this for all dlc's you have keeping installation order listed above.

10. Install HF patch (If you want dlc parts be translated):

Make sure to download them in singles, not all in a zip. It seemed to work well, but i was missing the 3rd .bin file (thought i would try it with 2.... lol). Freaking 6hr wait, well tomorrow it is.

Spent a while trying to access the files when downloaded from mega all in a single zip, nothing seemed to work and was just met with errors.
