How to play in VR ?

Bought the game under the impression i could play in VR but when i launch the game the option is greyed out...

I've not tried the button on the launcher, have you tried just launching from the Koikatsu Party VR exe on the folder?

This did let me open the VR mode and i thought that was it. But while ingame it won't let me open the menu no matter what i do :/

It will crash if you already have SteamVR open.
If you have disabled Steam VR from starting when VR application is starting then enable it.

What VR headset are you on? For oculus you actually have to click the joystick button to activate the laser pointer to make menu selections.

I use VIVE, the original button for the menu is the handle-button. But i reinstalled and it worked so might just have been some sort of bug.

I have oculus, what do I need to do to get the pointer? I've pressed everywhere, and in most cases my hands change from Actial to systemic.
