Slow loading times?
I saw one review who was talking about very long loading times, ie 5 minutes to load every time you change a room or something.
Was wondering if that's an actual thing or if this dude has a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ pc.

I'd say it's the latter, I don't have that problem. Course, it might be that he's got it set to load areas as necessary instead of loading everything at the start of each time period.

Slow loading on the beginning on each day was fixed long ago with mods.

Now it reqires only 1 long loading when you enter the academy for the first time. All subsequent londings are almost instatnt.

For me, individual areas (or rooms) load up in seconds.

... and I play this off an EXTERNAL hard drive.

I know it's been a year but I just wanna say that it takes me a freaking hour or two to load up the school on a weekday and that's with 38 daily seating capacity + 3.1 HF patch. It's unplayable at best as I don't have that kind of patience. Only thing that takes less than 5 minutes to load would have the Extra on main menu which includes sex and all that you get from the Extra

Then reduce the daily school attendance (girls) to 20 or so or even lower. (and maybe stop playing on a potatoe)

Did you activate the Force High Poly mod? Disable it (and enjoy potentially missing accessories)

Maybe something is wrong with your hdd, try installing the game on a different hdd maybe (and / or or disabling your antivirus software when running the game).

Check your hdd smart table with speedfan. Go to "smart" tab, select your hdd in a drop-down list and watch "Fitness" and "Performance" percentage at the bottom of the window.
