Character are not loading in and cannot save new character

For some reason i can not save or load previously made characters and have no idea why

The game has updated to support chinese, which can cause this.

Install / reinstall HF patch to fix this.

You'll have to show your output_log.txt file from after trying to load a card so keep it handy.

very simple use load selects the folder where it will be saved.
the problem this child of the folder the file does not know where to save so use the load to select.

The thread is dead, but if anyone is having trouble I managed to find a fix. In my case, the newest character I made somehow messed up how the game reads/loads cards. When this happened I had no custom or default cards and couldn't save any new ones. All I had to do was sus out and delete the (corrupt?) problem card and everything went back to normal when I reloaded. Hope this helps somebody. Cheers
