Bothered Bodkin's Grass Seeds..?

..where do I find these?

Either some around monsters close by drop them, or they're in a chest further in. Can't remember more though, I just continued walking till I reached the beach I saw I had gathered the seeds already

Its the Muddy Hand monsters in the Bog that drop Grass Seeds frequently. These monsters come in sets of 3-5 usually and you'll get a drop maybe a third of the time so it won't take long to get the five needed for the Bodkin. (You'll want to keep another dozen or two for yourself though.)

You can also get them from the evil purple-faced Bodkin Bowyers in the southeast part of the island, but these guys are much more annoying to fight because they shoot arrows from a distance and can paralyze you. The Beach past the green-faced Bodkin offers no seeds - you'll only have Mauluscs out there and an Orc. Kratos263 is probably misremembering a chest with Wheat Seeds in one of those ruined houses nearby.
