So, do we know if mods are going to be possible via the workshop?
I get that there are reasons why it's unlikely, but all the conversations I find get lost in the talk about Denuvo.

I just want to know if anyone has any idea/thoughts on if we are going to be able to tweak any settings and values to remove item limits etc, change hunger, etc?

Is it just too early to tell with the demo and we will know more on release? I am really keen for mods on this game and none the conversations I've read do much to answer the question for me.

I wouldn't count on mods anytime soon, as the code is all packed in 1 major exe (500mb+) file and the content also in 1 file.

Hlowever game trainers / cheat engine tables are very easy to achieve. I am currently creating one as we speak and I am already capable of spawning items.
I would rather modding was more external like Nexusmods or Moddb
But yeah i really would like to see mods.

I wish for it too, but I don't think SE as a Japanese Corp will do that, if they do, this will be a perfect game.
I'm praying...

It'll have the same kinda mods as sottr and dragon quest XI I reckon. So very limited skin replacement mods.

Any fix for ultrawide would be greatly appreciated
So no way to make level ups keep giving you recipes after 40? :(
Well i guess the only mod i can probably get is level 99 cap unlock off the bat.

Interesting... Time to mess with broken items :>
I... I want a mod that adds well balanced weapons and armor. Especially for levels 41 and onward.

I don't expect offical workshop ever, but Nexus may pick this up, time will tell really

I doubt there'll be official mod support I think they want to keep the limit of population for console players to connect (unless they put a system in where it will flag a map that consoles can't load & not show them the option to travel there).

I think the one mod I'd like the most is one to invite a set number of occupations to an island so I'm not going through umpteen screens to get like 10 people to buildertopias. Oh and one that puts dancers in a different costume (that big floofy ballgown you find in the lava lake would be better).

Denuvo prevent file temper, otherwise mods would unlock premium content (even though it doesn't make sense since the PC includ all the DLC)

But yeah, other than the cheat engine edits (and be lucky they actually work, because Denuvo is a piece of ass)
There is currently no way of making mods and tamper with files while that stinky garbage is in it.

I really hope Denuvo goes bankrupt and join securom and such in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ graveyard.

Developer dont ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ realize that they will sell more copy of the game without drm because of modding, than trying to prevent pirate.
Because pirate wont ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ buy the game regardless of the game hacked or not, since they pirate it for not having money to begin with.

when does devs are going to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wake up and understand drm are nothing but detrimental to a video games....

Look how ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ far minecraft went thank to modding, or even bethesda games considering how ♥♥♥♥♥ their engine is...

Perhaps more, but less often (meaning other games). And only monopolized modding is beneficial for the publisher. They may allow third-party mods, but the game should be overpopular (a high regional price and a “peg” to the franchise do not really contribute to this). Again, if they allow modding, the game will become just another Minecraft clone.

Due to the large time interval between the release of games.

There's some interesting ones in there, like Erdricks Choice Awards, various unused Ticket items etc.

Ben missed some items though. There are many more items.
