The story did it's job well enough.
I was interested enough to want to find out who the shadow person was and how the whole betrayal plot line worked out. I'd like to have seen a little more environmental storytelling though, as that is where the game really shined.

Overall, it kept me playing but didn't exactly set my world on fire. I'd call it a C+, maybe be a B-. The gameplay is pretty tight though, and that's what I came here for.
