For some reason my compass directions are wrong

East is north ... it i just messing with me. Has this happened to anyone else?

All teh other directions are in line with East being north ... so south is west ... do i need to rotate the map?

Yeah for some reason north faces to the side in the world map, it's like that for everybody

And it's odd because I found a framed map which had the correcto orientation!

apparently was an odd design choice, as they had a 2D map before but when they changed for a 3D map the mountain used to block the view of certain locations so they changed the orientation but never changed the the cardinal signs as there are quest that ask you for specific locations and they direct you via them so the reason for the confusion
