Stranger's Dream

I seem to be either missing the update or glitched somehow. In my understanding once you hit new game plus you should be ale to enter the strangers dream, but i've never had the option. right now i'm at the last level again, did i just miss something somehow?

The Stranger's Dream should be found near the bottom left of the Bastion. The first time you go near it Rucks mentions his old history books. There is no visual for it for some reason, just a prompt to enter the dream.

yeah, i watched a vidoe of someone going in to it, but rucks never mentioned books to me, and standing in or around the spot the dream should be in either says nothing or promts me to enter the singer's dream.

It happens once you're in New Game +. You might have to play into it a bit.

That's what i thought, but i'm at the last level in new game +.

Yeah, i actually lined myself up perfectly witht he spot i saw someone use to activiate the history books. i just get asked if i want to use the pot. is i walk farther to the left, or anywhere else, i just stop geting propts to activate anything.

That is very odd. Does the game menu have a Score Attack Mode option or a No Sweat Mode option? Those were also included in the Stranger's Dream update, so if they are not there, that would mean you are somehow missing the whole update. If they are there, I don't know what's wrong. In either case, it might be time to contact the developer to see if they can help. Supergiant is a small company, but they have a history of making an effort to help players with bugs.

Yeah, i started with no sweat and unlocked score attack with the New game plus.

BUT, this problem solved it's self. last night when i turned the game on and reloaded into bastion Rucks just games the lines about the books and i could use them. my only guess is somehow I did something to override the event flag or that, but on reloading the game relised it skipped something and tripped the flag.

For me it worked directly after finishing the first Mission (that you select), did not work after doing the prooving grounds for the bow. I did exit to main menu and hit continue just before starting the thing, dont know of its effect, but rest assured, you can access Strangers Dream pretty much as soon as you Start a NG+ after playing like 2 maps, no need to get deeper into the game.
