Locked at 40fps. GTX570 is more than capable to run this 60fps. What's wrong...

I've been playing this game at 40fps for 3 hours. Randomly the fps shot up to 60 for a few seconds and it looked so awesome... but I'm not sure why it's locking itself at 40. Any ideas/suggestions?

- We're aware that for some users, the game is running at a locked frame rate that is less than the intended 60 fps. The "-nofixedstep" commandline parameter has resolved this issue for many players.


Go to Bastion -> Properties -> Set Launch Options and type -nofixedstep

I know this is an old thread but i was getting the same prob.
This fixed it.

So the queston is why has there not been a proper fix yet.

[edit] scratch that the 30fps bug still shows it's ugly head at times,but does go back to 60fps using that temp fix.
Devs ffs fix this bug it spoils the gameplay.
