I know this game will probably never get a sequel, as it has a conclusion, but it seems like such a waste to discard all the world building and culture the game provided. I sure hope someday it gets a continuation. Watching SuperGiantGames grow into a stand alone company with unique ideas is amazing, but i will miss this game dearly if they leave it behind , its very saddening to see so many of their other games adopt such huge components of bastion, almost as if they're trying to consume or replace Bastion.

So i guess its up to us to keep the game alive within reason, there are the Hades games but all games get old after awhile, but you put it perfectly with Bastion. i recommend you check out Moonlighter that's another underrated gem and the cycle continues this is how games are kept alive with recommendation.

The game story is finished and complete, and in any case they have other ideas too hence other games. Sequel could ruin everything and it would be a shame.

No not that i am aware of, don't really think it need it personally unless it is to bring it back to life and revive it then yh.
