Help disabling the mouse?

I want to totally disable the mouse and play with my keyboard only, but it seems like even when i rebind the attack buttons to the keyboard, the character still faces towards the mouse cursor and attacks to that direction. Help.

During my initial playthrough, I utilized a keyboard and mouse, whereas for my second playthrough, I opted for a controller. While I may not possess a solution to the issue you are currently encountering, I highly suggest trying to use a controller if you have one available. Personally, I found that the controller offered a more enjoyable gameplay experience compared to using a keyboard and mouse.
