Im a noob. just started. any tips?

Yeah ive just started and im wondering if anyone has any tips on what to do first and such

Follow the story. This isn't "open world".

Keep an eye open in the levels for stuff. While everything you don't find will eventually be in the shop, finding it means not having to pay for it.

Also, don't forget to check the Distillery after a level up. You might be a "kid", but you sure do like your drinks.

You can try the weapon challenges, but don't be disappointed if you can't get 1st prize just yet -- this might work better with some more upgrades on the weapon.

Practice your timing when you block with the Bullhead Shield. The damage and knockback you'll deal with precise blocks will help clear out groups of enemies quickly.
