When I was young I saw an old man who had a sword with an elaborate engraving : Wisdom and Treachery will always overcome youth and skill.

In this case the AI is the exuberant youth. You can design better ships. You can play the long game and go for an economy win. You can research with a specific angle in mind and make ship the enemy just cant touch.

If you don't know how to do that then make a thread and ask people to help you make a ship. Pick the nation you want to play in year XYZ and everyone in the forum will give you some tips.

You might be able to do something with Cheat Engine if you really are desperate. I've seen far less popular games have a simple table.

Actually because the number for your wealth is so large in this game it probably would be very easy to find the useful information with a pointer even if there isn't a table.

I forgot to mention. I don't own the game. I was going to buy it if it had a cheat lol!

You'll find on Steam that a lot of people either have reading comprehension issues or are simply unwilling to entertain the notion that maybe... just maybe... the way they play games isn't the "end all, be all" of gaming.

I see nothing wrong with cheating in a single player game. After all, it doesn't affect anyone else, so who cares?

Now to answer your question... as far as I know, there are no built-in cheats or console commands in this game.

You could use Cheat Engine, but it can be difficult to find the correct addresses for specific entries in some games and you won't know if that's the case until you try. Fortunately, there are people out there who write complex tables for games, but this also relies on them constantly updating those tables as game versions change over time.

Cheat Engine can be complicated to use if you've never used it before, so I'd take a look at some YouTube videos for instruction.

There's also a cheat program called WeMod (I won't link to it because I don't know what Steam's rules are when linking to cheat programs, but it's easy enough to find on Google or DuckDuckGo) and although I haven't tried it, it looks great.

At the end of the day, you're going to need to use an external program or cheating method. Maybe you could edit the game files (probably not, but it's possible in some games), but your best bet is still to try Cheat Engine or WeMod.

Dreadnoughts vs Modern Cruisers. This one is giving me the most issues for some reason. I've built some ships from specs on the forums, but that was back during the beta. Things may have changed. Any specific suggestions?

Deadpool you have always been my since of reason. You go that extra mile to explain what I do not have the capacity at the moment or if I ever the knowledge to lay forth exactly what you explained. I thank you and all others who contributed to this. Look I mean no disrespect to anyone and above all else. I follow a code. I would never cheat in a online game. One because I don't know how and two it is dishonest. When my dealings are with people whether it be face to face. I do not lie. Lying for good or bad reasons is just not for me. I've been burned hard by someone who had my everything. Who I believed would be bound to a wheelchair. To whom I believed was being mistreated in a marriage. I leapt in only to have been played for many years and in the end. Lost everything over her. So that's my synopsis of lying for me.

Being disabled has effected me and I struggle to comprehend things more so nowadays then when I was younger. I try and keep to myself as much as possible with the absolute highest reasoning of staying out of peoples way. People have made it clear that I am not of a quality human physically by my appearance. I can be walking in a store and someone just picks an argument with me. I once was told that "if I were as ugly as you" meaning me, "I'd kill myself" by a woman in the mall a couple of years ago. And I was just walking out of store and she was standing there with a group of girls. I'm that guy that people just love to pick on. There's just something about me to which I need not say anything to receive an opinion and judgement of my character without even uttering a word.

Now here we are getting into things that get to close for comfort for me. I never ever set out to hurt anyone or verbally accost anyone. I have a very dark self deprecating humour that people enjoy. As long as I'm telling the jokes it's ok. But I don't need anyone else to point out my issues out of disdain for myself. I can tolerate none of it. Just the part that I tell the jokes to make those who I want to make laugh or feel better about themselves.

So I'm very sorry for asking to the purists of this title. I'm sorry for implying such a despicable option in the calibre of this title to which you have all paid the price for. In study, time, and sacrifice to make what you have of your experience in this title. This will be my final comment to this chapter of the query. Again my sincerest apologies to all those who take this behaviour as weak and intolerable.
