Ice blocks?

May be a dumb question, but how do you break the ice blocks? I have all items, except the last passive effect and 93% of the map. My first thought was to use the gaz o line can, of course, but it did not work. I have tried with every item, even the parasol! Cant figure it out, please help.

ice block breaker is the last passive effect and the last powerup you get. its impossible to miss since you have to kill one of the main story bosses to get it. the door to that boss needs 3 keys to be opened from 3 bosses spread around the map. and is located at the area looking like the inside of a house. right before you enter the green-grassy area with fairies.

Ahhh... Okay, thank you! I thought that the door was the last thing to open in the game. Guess I'll have to find the 3rd key then, I have 2... Thanks!

The amount of potrait slots should tell you how many bosses there are overall.
