will "Aliens vs. Predator 2 (2001)" ever come to Steam??

I've heard people asking in past threads, if Steam will ever bring "AvP 2" onto their gaming site. So the title says it all

I doubt it, cuz since the official servers of AVP2 closed some years ago, not a lot of point to put a multiplayer bassed game in steam that don't work in multiplayer...

If u want to play It soo baddly I think there is a patch out there to play It on some cracked servers which are still running. I used to play on them a lot.

yeah I heard their multi-player servers had some pretty good, as people had raved about it

interesting stuff dude!!! but the AvPGalaxy website itself blows the big one, as the administrator who runs it is real pompous jackass (and his cohorts who help run it are also just as piss-poor) who sent me a nasty e-mail, after I came to him for some help in wanting to get some AVP-related news published on that site.

well I already own the CD-ROM version of this game, so it's no worries really. However, I made this post is because with classic games like "Duke Nukem 3D", "Wolfenstein 3D", and "Blake Stone/Planet Strike" coming to Steam, as well as the original (but slightly updated) "AvP 1999", it's only a matter of time before "AvP 2" comes to Steam as well.

that sucks monkey nuts dude. while i'm not really a multi-player gamer myself (except this game and "Rage"), i've heard tons of praise about "AvP 2's" multi-player servers before they sadly went offline for good.

Quarantine was so awesome before the servers shutdown. Used to be 20 marines in the bottom fighting off aliens...so damn fun

i've heard their Survivor matches were also pretty damn good

It won't happen because there is no easy multiplayer. They couldn't advertise it as such. It's an old game so there is no motivation. Just get the master server patch and play online.
