Is this game better with a controller?

I have been thinking of getting this game for a while now. However I have been wondering whether it works with a 360 controller because I prefer using that for FPS games. Firstly can I use a 360 controller on this game? Secondly is it better? If it isn't then I can get the game on 360 however I would prefer to play with the PC's better graphics.

The 360 controller works fine, but mouse and keyboard are much better imo - I've tried both ;)

the mouse works better for me. I just wish the guys at Rebellion had included the Marine player to crouch-down while in multi-player or the Single-Player

You can get the Xbox 360 controller for Windows or use the mouse and keyboard; the PC version is set up so you can use either/or.

I use a logitech F310 Gamepad. The only downside is I believe the mouse is a lot more accurate than a joystick for aiming(sometimes my aim is way off), but it works just fine.

Im not saying I can't play with the mouse and keyboard. I now own the game and I can use both however I prefer the controller and that is just personal preference. Don't be an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Try reading the post properly first.

yep playing the game console style from my couch on my gigantic plasma with a wireless controller is preferable to sitting at my desk with a mouse/keyboard. dgaf if the mouse/keyboard is more accurate. Just care that it is playable and fun.

mouse/keyboard may always be the most accurate/quick aiming in shooters but it sure as hell isn't the most ergonomic or comfortable.

360 game controller you can but its laggy and as mentioned the keyboard and mouse are the fastest in responce just get yourself a good optical gaming mouse and your good for go
