Controller support?

Does AVP have gamepad/controller support? Colonial Marines and Alian Isolation both do, just wondering if this one does too.

yes AvP2010 has controller support. Some people have issue until the unplug and plug it back in or install the correct driver

Alrighty, thanks :) Now just to figure out which game to play in which order out of Alien Isolation, Colonial Marines, and AVP (since I would think that that is the chronicalogical order). Which kind of sucks since the entire time I would be degrading game mechanics and textures with every single game in that order which is not a good idea to me.

So I'm thinking maybe AVP since that isn't really tied to the movies at all. Then I get to decide through AI vs CM.

How do i get my xbox 360 controller to work with this game. Its not wireless and i already tried disconnecting it and reconnecting the usb but no luck....can any one help me figuere this out

Have you gone to options, there is a on and off option for gamepad use.

Hay dude i found this to lag on sprint (xbox joypad) and never went back to it ,,,hooked it up to an alienware keyboard and never looked back ,,,is this only for xbox pad because thats all i see in the controller settings ??????

idk, I'm a keyboard/mouse always for fps. I'd be surprised if it only supported a particular controller. If it does only support xbox controllers then use joytokey. Only time I analog is platformers such as sonic and prince of Persia.

Are you sure check the controller setting again ,,,i am also keyboard and mouse alienware but if you server it would be good if you could give players an option via pad control issues

anyone using the wireless 360 controller? I set controller to on but still no luck, its not picking up my wireless 360 controller. Tried reconnect the controller, still does not work

Remove the batteries then put the batteries back in then on top of your controller a tiny white button press the sync button then press the sync button on your xbox

iF THAT DONT WORK REMOVE THE POWER CABLE FROM YOUR XBOX HOLD DOWN THE POWER SWITCH FOR 10 SECONDS PUT THE POWER CABLE BACK IN BOOT UP AND TRY AGAIN WITH THE SYNC BUTTON ON CONTROLLER AND XBOX

OR get rid of the xbox and get a game rig you will never look back :),,,but the newer xbox rocks

Gitaroo, is it an Xbox 360 controller for PC? I assume so. You cannot interchange the controllers freely. Can you get the controller to work with other games?

*I've been using my wireless controller for this game and it hasn't caused any problems at all. I changed sensitivity horizontally to 40 and vertically to 45 since I think default sensitivity is too much just very very lightly too much. So sensitivity can be swayed to H45 - V47.

i blasted noone your confustion of post and missunderstandings only.....i have both xbox and pc i play 24-7 on pc and play on 5 rigs sp

Oh, okay, my bad then. I retract my statement lol. I like Xbox, but I don't personally own one anymore but I still like them. And I like gamepads in most games because gamepads (analog) always offer better movement control than a keyboard. It's just a shame I can't have an analog keyboard or maybe the movement joystick of a gamepad + a mouse for looking around all in one.
