The game don't want to start.

I bought this game few days ago and i really want to play it.
but each time i click play button on steam it don't start i tryed spammed it and checking for forums for same problem but nothing came up.
So if any one know the solution hit me up with it as soon as possible if you may. thank's for your time.
(Tryed lunching it from the setup folder which it was setup at it gave me this error)
Alien vs predators/xinput1_3d either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error.
try installing using the original installing media.

the game needs to be activated on Steam before you can play the game offline or online. If you have not done more than installing from the disc you need to open Steam, at the bottom left click "+Add Steam Product" > "Activate ???" then type in the CD key, > next > agree > finish.

If you have already activated the game on steam the service may be running slow. It take a few minutes, hours or possibly one day before the game runs.

Alternatively I highly recommend verifying cache integrity as it is a common problem. Open the Steam Client, right click AvP in your library > Properties > Local Files > Verify Cache.

Post any error message or error code that appears. Ultimately you'll need to contact Steam Support if the game continues to fail to run.

ok thx alot :)) i got a qestion usualy when u right click on ur game in libery it show u cd key avp 2010 doesnt have cd and btw i solved the problem.. it works fine now and i can play but so far when i click on multi player no servers no one is playing lol so my qestion is why this game has no cd key am playing with it which is werid :/

I do not know answers about how the Steam client shows or uses cd keys. My initial response is the extent of my knowledge about AvP2010 and cd key activation.

I have not checked the multiplayer population in about two weeks. I have seen the servers completely empty a few times in the past. Be sure you are looking at the Dedicated Server list. Launch AvP2010, Multiplayer > Player Match > Filter: Dedicated (Internet) > Browse. Nobody plays Player Hosted anymore.

Or if game not run after you activated your game key just uninstal avp and download from steam!
